Partnerships Manager — East Africa

Onboard referring hospitals in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Ethiopia and keep their referral loop closed.

About the role

You will sign and support referring hospitals: present the partner programme to medical directors, train referral desks on the portal, and make sure every referred case gets its reports back. Targets are measured on active referring hospitals, not on volume pushed.

What you will do

  • Build a pipeline of hospitals and clinics in the region
  • Run portal training for referral and records staff
  • Review open cases weekly with each partner
  • Feed partner needs back to the product and medical teams

What we are looking for

  • 5+ years in hospital business development, pharma or medical devices
  • Existing relationships with hospitals in the region
  • Fluent English and Swahili
  • Comfortable presenting to clinical leadership

Partner hospitals and patient records

The partner portal is an operations system: wards and beds, departments, pharmacy stock, staff and payroll, and procurement. It does not hold patient medical records. The only health data that reaches us is a referral, which a hospital sends with the patient's (or guardian's) explicit written consent for that purpose; the hospital records the consent date and scope on the referral and keeps the signed form in the patient's file.

Referral documents are stored encrypted in transit and on a private disk that only our medical team and the referring hospital can open, are shared with the treating hospital abroad only as far as the consent allows, and are deleted 12 months after the referral is closed.
